The 8:30 a.m. Worship Service is held in the Chapel. It is a thirty minute worship time with hymns, Scripture, sermon and prayer.

 

At 9:15 a.m. the Family Christian Education program offers a learning opportunity for every member of the family. Childcare for infants and toddlers relieves parents while the children and youth attend age graded teaching classes. Adults can choose between two or three seminars and workshops for a growing Christian education.

 

The 10:30 a.m. service involves the whole family. Child Care is available for infants and toddlers. After Small Talk (a special lesson for young children during the service) preschool through third graders leave for their own activity program. Worship features the Chancel Choir, and monthly presentations by the Bell Choir and the two Children’s Choirs.

 

Worship style at First Congregational might be termed “traditional” but is warm, inviting and contemporary in nature. Feel free to dress in smart, chic or casual attire – it’s a personal choice.
